What Gear is included?

All rods, reels, terminal tackle, flies, and beads are included for guided trips.

What is not included?

• Sport fishing license from ADF&G

• Waders

• Rain gear

• Sunglasses (Polarized are best for water)

• Lunch (cooler will be on board)

• Sales tax on cost of Trip

• Gratuity for Guide

Should I book in advance?

Planning out a short summer is tricky, we can help by providing a secured date to get out on the water. Booking in advance is half the cost of the package booked prior to the date to hold the spot. If booking less than three days ahead of trip then no deposit is necessary. Full payment is due the day of trip.

How can I pay for my guided trip?

Payment can be check or cash. With an added transaction fee payment can also be sent via venmo @payment-keithflyfishing. Checks can be made out to “Keith Fly Fishing” and mailed to PO Box 762 Kasilof AK 99610. Full payment is due the day of trip.

What about Weather?

Fish bite rain or shine so we fish all the time! If it rains on your booked day the boat will still launch, don’t forget rain gear.

What if I don’t know how to fish?

Having a max of two people to one guide ratio makes for the best hands on teaching that can have you feeling confident by the pull out.

Isn’t Fly Fishing hard, would this be a good place to learn?

The guide, Gavin Keith, is proficient in teaching Fly Fishing techniques for both two handed and single handed fly fishing. With years of experience teaching castings lessons and guiding in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, the time to learn could be now!
